Deployment and hardening of a licensed multi-user portfolio and CV-builder SaaS for a consulting client, moving profile images and CV files onto object storage.
What we did
- Profile images and CV files served from S3-compatible storage
- CV download path debugged and corrected through several iterations
- Self-update controller and refactored service provider
- Localisation fallback fix on profile views
- HTTPS enforcement
Outcome
Made a licensed platform patchable after deployment through a self-update mechanism, delivered in a shared workflow with the client’s own contributors.
This was engineering work on a licensed platform. The base product belongs to its vendor; the deployment, migration and hardening described here are ours.
